School Mission Statement
To provide high quality teaching within a co-operative and supportive learning environment creating for each individual student a platform for successful life long learning.


The teaching team and parents act as guides but the learner must do the learning. Support must be given according to need but to be a successful learner, foundation  skills, a positive 'can do' attitude, and team work skills all need to be in place.

Teaching and learning at our school will focus on encouraging every student to:

• develop a growing sense of what is right and wrong. "Was that a 'good' choice you just made?"
• be respectful and friendly to each other and be particularly tolerant and sensitive to individual differences.
• be respectful towards adults, other cultures and their natural environment and heritage.
• enjoy their learning, devlop their interests and talents, and with each small success appreciate the 'power' of learning.
• develop a sense of responsibility for their own learning and behaviour, always aiming for their personal best in all they do.
• appreciate that learning is not always easy, that they need to value perseverance and effort, and learn from their mistakes.
